Dr. Gilbert DVM, Ph.D
Dr. Gilbert’s dream is to provide excellent care to our four-legged family friends; including exotic animals. As a veterinarian for more than 20 years, he decided to enhance his knowledge in medicine and surgery under the mentorship of the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph – VSTEP program.
His experience as a former professor, researcher and social worker provide him with the perfect tools to address the complexities of animal care, diagnosis and treatment. He received several awards and citations for his contribution to veterinary medicine in the Philippines. He obtained a Diploma in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology from Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph and was awarded the degree of Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Pathology and Microbiology from James Cook University, Townsville, Australia.
Dr. Gilbert likes to spend time explaining to his clients and answers questions especially when it comes to tumors and disease processes. He has a family oriented approach to every client that comes into the hospital. Gardening and Gym are his two favorite past times. He spends most of his time at home with his wife Roselyn, daughter Thea, son Chad and the youngest daughter Lana.
